CAUTION! Risk of physical injury

The shelf is heavy. Lifting a shelf requires at least two persons.

CAUTION! Risk of physical injury

Parts of the equipment can have sharp edges.

NOTICE: Risk of equipment damage

When removed from the transportation containers, the equipment must
be kept in a place which fulfils environmental requirements for stationary
use, as stated in the installation site requirements.

The cabinet is heavy. Exercise care when moving the cabinet. Additional
personnel or lifting equipment may be needed when moving, unpacking
or lining up the cabinet. Follow any applicable local regulations when
lifting and moving the cabinet.

Before lifting the cabinet upright

If the cabinet is going to be mounted on feet or there is a need to be able
move the cabinet on the floor, the integrated wheel and foot assemblies
must be installed before the cabinet is lifted upright. The integrated
wheel and foot assemblies (4 pcs) are delivered with the cabinet and
they can be found in a cardboard box inside the cabinet frame.
For instructions on installing the integrated wheel and foot assemblies,
see the Installing ATCA Hardware document.

Lifting the cabinet with lifting equipment

CAUTION! Excessive lateral stress on the lifting eyes may cause

them to break
The lifting eyes are intended to be used during unpacking. Make sure
that the lifting belts are properly attached. Stand clear of the cabinet
while it is being lifted.

Four lifting eyes are included in the delivery. They can be found in a
plastic bag attached to the top end of the cabinet. The lifting eyes can be
used for lifting the cabinet to an upright position with lifting equipment or
when moving the cabinet on the installation site.
When using the lifting eyes, lifting belts must be correctly attached
through all four lifting eyes. Particularly when moving a fully equipped
cabinet, make sure that the angle between the belt and the top of the
cabinet is at least 60 degrees.
