A. Readings

All movements including during leisure time, for transport to get to and from places, or as
part of a person’s work is referred to as physical activity. According to World Health Organization
(WHO) physical activity is any bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles that requires
energy expenditure. Both moderate- and vigorous-intensity physical activity improve health.

STAYING PHYSICAL ACTIVE DURING PANDEMIC

WHO recommends that an adult should have 150 minutes of moderate intensity
exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous physical activity per week plus 2 or more days of
muscle strengthening exercise. But how do we do it especially this time of the pandemic?

Directions: Make a table of your daily activities from the moment you wake up until you go to
sleep. Indicate the number of minutes of each activity. Example is shown below. Answer the
