CHAPTER III
METHODOLOGY
The researchers will ask first a permission from the Senior High School Department
Coordinator. The researchers will personally conduct the research among the Grade 11 Senior
High School students in their respective class. The researchers will use the stratified sampling
technique to select the respondents and will use the survey questionnaires to gather data. All
answers will be kept confidential. After answering all the given questions, the researchers then
The researchers will choose grade 11 senior high school students of AMACC Naga since
the researchers observed that most of the students are experiencing the gender discrimination in
the classroom. The researchers wanted to know what is/are the reason/s that affect their academic
performance. The researchers chose Stratified Sampling Technique, a sampling method that is
sampling technique in this research study. The top 15 who have the highest ranking and the top
lowest ranking in all class are the main subject of the said technique. The researchers wanted to
know if gender inequality is one of the top contributors why the top bottom of class got the
lowest grade. Especially in the workplace where the students experienced gender discrimination,
The data gathered by the researchers were carefully tallied, analyzed and interpreted
using statistical tools to discover the impact of peer pressure to decision making skills of the
respondents. The researchers used frequency count, average weighted mean, and correlational
1) To answer problem #1 and #2, the researchers used Frequency Distribution. The

Where:
P = Percentage
N = Number of Respondents
2) To answer problem #3, the researchers used the Average Weighted Mean. The formula
is shown below,
N = Number of Respondents
3) To answer problem #4, testing hypothesis, the researchers used the Pearson-r or the
Correlational Coefficient.

Where:
Σ 𝑥 = Sum of x scores
Σ 𝑦 = Sum of y scores
