METHODOLOGY

This chapter is composed of the research design, sample of the study, data instrument,

collection of data, and statistical treatment of data used in the study.

Data Gathering Instrument

The researchers used questionnaires as their instrument for gathering data.

The questionnaires are composed of three parts. The first part contained the profile of the

respondents in terms of a) gender, b) type of location, c) type of internet connection, and d)

number of gadgets connected to internet. The second part contained the impact of slow internet

connection to the academic performance of the respondents. The last part talked about the

academic performance of the study.
