that the participant will need to update their portfolio with any additional teaching experiences in the remainder of the
IPTeC year prior to submitting their final portfolio.

IPTeC Requirements:

Didactic (2 hours): instruction to health professionals and/or health professional students


Experiential (6 hours): APPE or IPPE rotation teaching through facilitation of or assessment of
learners delivering topic discussions, journal clubs, presentations, etc. **presenting to a preceptor
alone without learners does NOT count**
Precepting/co-precepting (6 hours): patient care discussions, patient care activities, project
management, etc.

Exceeding didactic teaching requirements and on track for completion of the remaining. Margo will be facilitating a
Case Studies section for the Spring semester at Butler University and also plans to assist in some classes this
semester at Manchester.

The participant has developed a teaching philosophy that is clear, concise, and reflective. The participant
has considered his or her own personal approach to teaching and precepting.

Ensure formatting is updated (some superscripts didn't translate). Margo has developed a well thought out teaching
philosophy which does include some specific actions she plans to incorporate into her teaching. I would recommend an
additional sentence or two relating her philosophy to experiential education.

Great organization. As many documents that you can embed and still look organizes is helpful to the reviewer so they
don't have to download as much. It is a fine balance. Yours looks great! If you have the opportunity to embed your CV
or other feedback documents that may be helpful.
