II. NARATIVE REPORT

A. Objective:
1. To elect SSG officers SY 2022- 2023

B. Rationale:

Different areas of the country have undergone significant change

as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has changed how classes are
typically conducted in the educational sector and replaced it with a new
standard setup. In order to accomplish important curricular objectives,
it has provided teachers and students with a variety of learning
modalities and strategies. The Department of Education (DepEd) has
consistently suggested various measures to have student
representation despite the pandemic in the area of student leadership.
The youth of this generation will benefit from its efforts by gaining
practical and useful leadership skills, knowledge, and attitudes.
The Department acknowledges the significant roles and
contributions of the SSG in secondary schools, as stated in DepEd
Order No. 47, s.2014. Its foundation is based on democratic
participation, servant leadership, unity, accountability, and
effectiveness in serving the student body. However, the COVID-19
pandemic's threats have severely constrained the role of student
leaders.

D. Activities

1. Election of SSG Officers

During the period of August 25, 2022 to September 5, 2022

election of Homeroom Class Officer are conducted. Campaign period
was started September 8, 2022 until September 12, 2022. The SSG
election will be held on September 15, 2022, at 9 a.m. for the morning
session and 12:30 p.m. for the afternoon session.

2. Appointment of Youth COMEA Commissioner

The four Youth COMEA Commissioners have been appointed by

the school principal. Abegail P. Fabunan as Youth COMEA Chief
Commissioner, while James Tabiolo, Catherine Trimor, Sheila Viray
and Divina Gracia Dela Cruz were appointed as Youth COMEA
Commisioner

3. Campaign Period
The campaign period is scheduled from September 9 until September
14 of 2022.

4. Proclamation and Oath Taking of Newly Elected SSG Officers and

Issuances of Certificate of Appointment

The newly elected SSG Officers took their oath with Maam
Abegail P. Fabunan as the Oath Officer. Proper coordination was done
before the conduct of the said activity.
