THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD

1. The scientific method answers scientific questions by making

observations and experiments
2. There are six steps to follow:
- Ask a question or identify the problem to be solved
- Making observations and research on the subject of the question, this
means studying carefully
- Formation of the hypothesis. The hypothesis is plausible about how
something works, but to be correct it must be verifiable, testable.
- Design an experiment and test the hypothesis
- Analyze the data, to do this you have to look at the results of your
experiment e
- Draw a conclusion with the data collected: if the conclusion does not
support or does not agree with the hypothesis, that's fine, you will just
have to create a new experiment; if the conclusion supports the
hypothesis, you may have a new question to test and start a new
scientific process
3. It is a method of answering questions logically
4. Thanks to it, many important discoveries in the world have been
discovered, but many questions still remain unanswered.
5. Error: constitutive element of science.
6. Everything in science is certain only if there is proof to the contrary

GELILEO GALILEI
Inventò il metodo sperimentale.
1. Osservazione
2. Ipotesi
3. Tesi
4. Verificazione
5. Formulazione della legge
Senza il metodo sperimentale la scienza non è più scienza ma
contraffazione.
