The pie chart illustrates the comparison of several kinds of energy

production in 1995 and 2005 in France. Overall, between 1995 and 2005
there was an upward trend. In addition, the amount of coal using by French
people were the highest percentage, whereas that number of nuclear was
the least.

French energy production in 1995 was dominated by coal, which accounted

for 29.80% of the total. In terms of gas and petrol, both percentages were
slightly lower, at 29.63% and 29.27%, respectively. The lowest figure may
be found in the percentage of energy produced by other sources, at
approximately 5%, while just 6.40% of the total energy was provided by
nuclear power.

In 2005, the percentage of energy derived from coal increased slightly, but
it remained the highest. The percentage for gas increased gradually to
30.31%, whereas the percentage for petrol dropped dramatically by almost
10%. The estimates for nuclear and other sources showed high rises of
10.10% and 9.10%, respectively.
