Adverbs of frequency in simple present tense

You can use adverbs of frequency to answer questions such as:


How + adverbs of frequency + Subject + complement + ?
How (often/frequently) do you play soccer?

Adverbs of frequency go before the main verb but after verb “to be”
Subject + verb “to be” + adverbs of frequency + complement.
Example:

She is never in your home.

I am always in class.

We are usually attentive.

Here are some examples sentences of adverbs of indefinite frequency using


simple present tense verbs:

I always brush my teeth.

I usually eat dinner at 7.

I often go to the movies.
