Do Face Masks Pose Serious Risks To Children & to the

Healthy?
deeprootsathome.com/does-a-face-mask-pose-serious-risk-to-children-or-to-the-healthy/

Jacqueline

“Please don’t keep a face mask on your kids. My nephew went to get tubes in his ears. As
mandated by the hospital, he wore a mask; 2 layers of woven fabric. They couldn’t get his 02
sats (saturation) over 87. They were bouncing from 80-87. Anything below 90 requires
oxygen. They waited and waited until finally my sister had them remove his mask. After 2
breaths it jumped to 97.”

When I read those words, I wondered why a hospital would not be giving 02 with a mask?
We never masked anyone for any procedure in the ORs I worked in until this ‘Rona came
along! A child’s O2 saturation should be above 95% at all times, and they let it get
down to 80?

Parents: please advocate if this happens to your child.

The CDC does not recommend masking for children under the age of 2 due to risks of
suffocation. This seems to be the ONLY recommendation not changed several times
regarding face masks.

The WHO just stated June 8, that Asymptomatic spread of coronavirus is ‘very rare,’ and
numerous studies show face masks are neither safe nor effective. So, as schools prepare to
create policies for children returning to school in the fall, we must keep these things in mind.

The epidemiology of SARS infections doesn’t seem to affect children as significantly as

influenza. “SARS is a relatively mild disease in this age group.”

But What About Masks on Adults?

1/4
Some may do well wearing a face mask for short periods, but one should not attack and insult
those who have chosen not to wear a face mask, as the following studies suggest that is the
wise choice to make.

Do a Self Test! Get a pulse oximeter for yourself, put on a mask, see what it does to YOUR
02 levels!

Here is a 4:30 minute video using an oxygen meter:

Studies have indeed found significant problems with wearing such a mask. This
can vary from headaches and carbon dioxide accumulation, all the way to serious life-
threatening complications.

There is a difference between the N95 respirator mask and the surgical mask (cloth or paper
mask) in terms of side effects. The N95 mask, which filters out 95% of particles with an
average size of >0.3 microns, impairing respiratory exchange more than a soft mask, is more
often associated with headaches. (1) Among health care workers studied a third developed
headaches and 60% required pain medications for relief.

In another case, during major surgery, surgeons themselves had a decrease in

blood O2 saturation and an increase in pulse rates.

This drop in oxygen levels (hypoxia) directly causes a direct lowering of the
immune system. (2)(3)(4)

Hypoxia inhibits the type of main immune cells used to fight viral infections called the
CD4+ T-lymphocyte. Hypoxia sets off a whole chain reaction that stimulates a powerful
immune inhibitor cell called the Tregs. This sets the stage for contracting any infection,
including COVID-19 and making the consequences of that infection much graver. Simply
put, your mask may very well put you at an increased risk of infections and an outcome
like the formation of cancerous metastases. (2)(3)(4)

Cancer & Heart Risks from a Face Mask?

Cancer grows best in an environment that is low in oxygen. Cancer patients will fare
worse from face mask hypoxia as it pro-inflammatory and spurs the growth,
invasion and spread of cancers. (5)(6) Repeated episodes of hypoxia has been proposed
as a significant factor in atherosclerosis, increasing all cardiovascular (heart
attacks) and cerebrovascular (strokes) diseases. (7)

Oxygen Deprivation Associated With Onset Of Dementia

2/4
Oxygen deprivation in the brain can lead to some forms of dementia,
including Alzheimer’s Disease. Cerebral hypoxia, induced through other forms of hypoxia,
can cause brain damage, including brain cell death and other forms of mental
deterioration.

Rebreathing Viruses
When someone has any respiratory virus, they will exhale some of it with each breath. When
wearing a face mask they will be constantly rebreathing the viruses, raising the concentration
of the virus in the lungs and the nasal passages.

We not only rebreathe our own C02 and viruses, but it gets scarier!

Can a Face Mask Cause Us To Breath COVID-19 Virus Into the Brain?
The answer in 3 studies appears to be YES. See the links to the studies in the quote below!

Dr. Russell Blaylock brings us evidence in studies suggesting that in some cases the virus
can enter the brain. (8)(9) “By wearing a face mask, the exhaled viruses will not be able to
escape and will concentrate in the nasal passages, enter the olfactory nerves and travel
into the brain.” (10)

Sadly, the experts aren’t telling those with lung diseases, such as emphysema or
COPD, of the risks when wearing a face mask of any kind—which can cause a severe
decline in lung function. This also includes patients with lung cancer or other cancers.

Dr. Blaylock goes on to say:

“The fact that this virus is a relatively benign infection for the vast majority of the population
and that most of the at-risk group also survive, from an infectious disease and
epidemiological standpoint, by letting the virus spread through the healthier population we
will reach a herd immunity level rather quickly that will end this pandemic
quickly and prevent a return next winter. During this time, we need to protect the at-risk
population by avoiding close contact, boosting their immunity with compounds that boost
cellular immunity and in general, care for them.”

So a parting reminder to parents: don’t let anyone do a procedure on your child (or an
adult, for that matter) in a mask without oxygen—which should be standard practice in all
hospitals!
