Sierra 18-5258 Tune Up Kit Installation Instructions:

Remove the old condenser. Use the lead as a guide to select the proper hole in the
copper strap.
Cut off the excess strap material about 1/16" beyond this hole.
Cut the insulating sleeve 1/2" shorter than the strap and install on the strap.
Note: If the old condenser has a slotted terminal cut away one side of the hole in
the strap with a pair of side cutters.
Snap the bracket on the condenser making sure that the mounting flange is in the
same position as on the old condenser.
Install the assembly in the distributor.
