Welcome to our guests!


Step off the porch & wriggle your toes in the sand, hear the waves breaking on the beach, see the sun over
the water, feel the sea breeze wash over you. Drink your favorite drink, have a relaxing breakfast on the
beach porch, and enjoy your family and friends. Just remember, we have no control over the weather, so
you may have to encourage the occasional hurricane away!

About the cottage:


• 5 bedrooms with double beds, ceiling fans, and a few stand up fans
• Central HVAC
• Double-bed futon in back open kitchen area
• Two decks - one overlooking the Atlantic Ocean!
• 2 full baths, 1 half bath and 2 outdoor showers
• Foot wash and fish-scaling sink
• Cable TV & WiFi, 2 TV/DVD players, and a selection of children’s games & books
• Both kitchens have a stove, microwave, refrigerator, drip coffee maker & toaster; the ocean-side kitchen
has a Keurig
• Blender & electric mixer in front kitchen, plus various pots, pans, dishes & glasses & lots of silverware
• Washer & dryer in back kitchen
• Phone with answering machine (free local calls)

About the particulars:


Half of the rental fee is due when reservations are made. The balance is due one week prior to occupancy.
We have a full-time cleaning service. They will clean the cottage every Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. To ensure
adequate time for full cleaning, all rentals end at 10 a.m. Sunday. Weekly rentals begin at 4 p.m. Sunday.
The cleaning fee has been built into the weekly rental.
NO PETS ALLOWED PLEASE.

What to bring with you


Double bed sheets and blankets, pillows, towels, personal amenities, toilet paper, paper towels, bathing
suit and some clothes for eating out.

WiFi
The network name is SeaWings-guest. The password is 1239CKDH. Select the network, open a web
browser and enter the password when the Linksys Cisco screen comes up. Supports up to 10 devices.
This info is also on the fridge.
Garbage Collection
Monday & Thursday mornings.
There are 2 city containers. They should be at curbside the evening before pickup, facing the curb about
3’ from the white line & other containers. Please return them to the cottage when empty.
All garbage must be in a city garbage container. Bags or other garbage not in city garbage containers will
not be collected (City Ordinance).

Parking
Park to the right beside the cottage & the small drive in front of the roadside porch. The neighbors must
be able to get their cars out and people from the cottages behind SeaWings must be able to walk
comfortably to the access steps in the far left corner of the drive. Overflow parking is on the public access
road one lot over from the cottage. Renters in the cottage behind us must allow you access. Please call
their rental company if there is a parking issue.

Circuit breakers
Located in the shed except for Ground Fault Interrupters (outside wall outlet under the street-side porch
& the hose pole). The porch GFI controls the bathroom wall outlets & the outside porch outlets. The
refrigerators & freezers should be set on 3 for best results.

Supplies
Light bulbs, vacuum cleaner, brooms and cleaning products are in the half bath closet & beneath the
sinks.

Before you leave, please:


Empty refrigerators (please clean shelves & leave no perishables)
Set thermostat (summer set to cool 70 degrees and winter to heat 50 degrees)
Take garbage out & put city containers street-side
Lock windows & doors, turn off lights and mail key back
