Architectural Exhibition Space in GUSAC Carnival:

To promote entrepreneurship in GITAM GUSAC (GITAM University Science and

Activity Centre), a student organization of GITAM Deemed to be University is planning
to host a week-long carnival with the collaboration of a venture development center.
Carnival consists of a series of seminars, hands-on work workshops with industry
experts and outdoor exhibitions of GITAM’s students works from all the departments.
Students of GITAM School of Architecture got an opportunity to exhibit their work for
one day in front of the industry expert.

Students need to design a temporary structure to exhibit students' work from GITAM
School of Architecture in GUSAC Carnival. The exhibits are primarily academic works
(Theory subjects, Design Studios, Models etc.) with a balanced proportion of stalls
relating to entertainment/interactive exhibits to engage and retain the interest of the
visitors. While anthropometry and visual quality play an important role for display,
form and circulation spaces facilitate the ease of wayfinding for the visitors. Modular
stalls may be designed for flexible arrangement in multiples, as per the requirement
of the displays. To compensate for the exhaustive experience of exhibition spaces,
appropriate break-out spaces are required. Provision for washroom and refreshments
are a part of break-out spaces along with some interactive spaces. The adjacent
existing food stalls may be carefully integrated with the flow/circulation of the
exhibition spaces.

Requirements for Exhibition Space:

1. Information & registration desk
2. Exhibition stalls (Numbers and sizes depends on design approach)
3. Interactive Spaces

Drawing requirements:
1. Site plan of exhibition space
2. Individual plan of exhibition stalls and information desk area
3. Site section
4. Perspective view of site (Exhibition space)

Note: Materials of the temporary structure need to be mentioned.
