Maintenance

1 Maintenance

New Mas CNC machine is a kind of automatic high precision equipment.

Each machine has a run-in period. Please use low speed to run the machine in

the first three months. The control cubicle should be well ventilated. And clean

the machine after work every day.

2 Maintenance rules:

Clean the dust during daily work. Remember to lubricate the machine.

Especially the friction and rotating parts like bar screw, sliding block and

S
bearing. Otherwise it will affect the product quality and service life.

Way to maintain:
MA
The control case should be positioned at a well ventilated place. Do not put it in

a high temperature place.

Keep the control case dry and clean. It is easy for the electric parts to be short

out or lead to fire if the control case stay in wet or high temperature situation.

So please clean it regularly.

1. Do not stack sundries in the control case or working table(such as

magnetism materials, heavy things, liquid)

4.24 Maintenance of main motor: In air cooling spindle please check the

main spindle fan if it is heat dissipating normally. Clean the dust in the fan
regularly. Prevent the water getting into the motor. In water cooling spindle

please keep high quality water and unobstructed flow.

2. Clean the machine every day. Remove the sundries which on the table,

limiting stop and guide rail. Put the lubricating oil on the guide rail. You can

use the oil of engine oil combined with grease.

3. Lubricating part: The guide rail, slider, gear, rack, lead screw and gear of X,

Y, Z axis.

4. Lubricating procedure: Clean the dust on rack, spindle, lead screw guide rail

and gear before lubrication. If there is something that cannot be removed,

S
clean it by gasoline. Please try running after lubricating to let every part get

lubricated.
MA
5. Lubrication period: It depends on working situation and usage condition.

Normally you should clean the machine and lubricate it after work every day.

6. Lubricating method: Put the lubricating oil into the slider by grease gun. And

use oiler or fabric to lubricate the other parts.

Maintenance of vacuum pump

1. Please select the clean water without impurity for the water pump and

change the water regularly.

2. If you choose hard water for working liquid, it should be melted. Or wash the
vacuum pump by solvent regularly.

3. In normal condition, the bearing and attached parts should be cleaned of the

waste oil and impurity after running 20,000 hours or at most 3 years in 50Hz

motor. Then input the new oil. The oil is better to be covered 50% in the

freedom room and 65% in the bearing cap room. If the working situation is

bad, please shorten the period of changing oil.

4. Open the water outlet of the tank to let the water flow out when you are

going to exhaust the air. Rotate the fan for running the vacuum pump till run

out of water. Tilt the pump 45 degrees helps evacuating the water. In this

S
way, the pump cannot be damaged although it stop running for a long time

or locate in a cold situation.

MA
5. Solution of long time stop using

6. If the vacuum pump has stopped using for about 4 weeks, first you should

evacuate the pump according to Item 3. Then input 0.5L preservative oil into

the pump from suction inlet or exhausting outlet and try to run it for a short

time.

7. If the impeller is locked by long time stop using pump with hard water, try to

input 10% concentration oxalic acid for about 30 minutes.

Maintenance of dust collector:

1. Check the fan regularly; grease the bearing once per week; check if there is

anything attached to the fan; clean it from time to time to avoid damage due to

vibration of the fan.

2. First close the front air hole of the tube and leave 2-3 air holes so that the

dust in the tube can be cleared. Then start closing the holes from the back till

the dust is completely cleared to avoid blockage for the tube.

3. Clean the dust bag regularly and check if the dust exit is blocked. Clear the

dust from time to time.
