Abstract
Individualized nursing care, which is a significant indicator for quality of nursing care, should be integrated into
nursing education and practice. Benner’s Novice to Expert Model guides nurses in care practices by providing
the theoretical framework.This article aims to create awareness that the Benner’s Novice to Expert Model could
provide nurses with a valuable strategy to develop their individualized care perceptions and practices and to help
enlighten the nursing discipline-specific studies.
