A  452-6006  Grease  -

Start By:

a. Remove the bucket.

When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always
ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the
rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not
meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden
failure of the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller
stud could result in personal injury or death.

c. Install bolt (6), inside nut (7B), and outside nut (7A) that secure pin (8). Position outside nut
(7A) until outside nut (7A) is 0.50 mm (0.019 inch) past end of bolt (6). Tighten inside nut
(7B) against outside nut (7A) to a torque of 175 ± 30 N.m (129 ± 22 lb ft).

d. Install bolt (2), inside nut (3A), and outside nut (3B) that secure pin (5). Position outside nut
(3B) until outside nut (3B) is 0.50 mm (0.019 inch) past end of bolt (2). Tighten inside nut
(3A) against outside nut (3B) to a torque of 175 ± 30 N.m (129 ± 22 lb ft).
