Task 3 – IDENTIFYING AND APPLYING EFFECTIVE WORKING PRACTICES


Give a brief description of why each of the following nineteen effective working
practices are considered important to the Level 3 Creative Media course. Also grade
yourself out 10 for each one

1 Punctuality – its important to be on time so you can get as much work as you cand
and not fall behind. 5/10

2 Motivation – its important to stay motivated as it reflects in your work. The less
motivated you are the worse the work. 6.5/10

3 Review your work (at end of session or assignment) – allows you to understand
what went well and what could be improved on. 7/10

4 Plan ahead – you’ll be able to focus more on the work itself rather than worry about
having to figure out what to do next. 5.5/10

5 Be organised – allows you to work more efficiently if you know where every thing
is. 7/10

6 Keep promises to colleagues – allows you to build trust with your colleagues which
would benefit you in the future and work better as a team. 8/10

7 Prioritise work – you are able to complete more tasks if you prioritise.

8 If unsure, ask - allows you to work through any issues that may arise
9 Maintain concentration and focus – allows you to work harder at the task at hand.
