Description of equipment
The screwless modular feed-through and individual terminal types 264-1 .. to 264-2.., with two or four clamping
units, as well as type 264-7.7 screwless protective-conductor terminal block with four clamping units is used to
connect copper conductors in terminal compartments of the type of protection increased safety "e".
The terminals are composed of insulating housing, made from plastic materials PA 66 and clamping units with
cage clamp.
Accessories are: end plates, separator plates and adaptor plates, bridging elements as well as retaining clip
and end brackets.
The terminal is fastened on mounting rails, or on supports with mounting flanges or snap-in mounting feets.

Notes for manufacturing and operation

Within the scope of the service temperature range, these terminals may be used in electrical apparatus -
above all in connection and junction boxes - for temperature classes T1 to T6.
When the terminals are installed in a terminal compartment - at least of the degree of protection IP 54 - the
requirements according to EN 50 014 (VDE 0170/0171 part 1), sections 14.2 to 14.4 must be met. Concerning
the use of accessories the instructions of the manufacturer must be considered.
When feed-through terminals with protective-conductor terminal blocks are mounted side by side, end cover
plates or adaptor plates are to be provided.
