Bordeaux is the region in France known for the quality wines it offers. The Bordeaux
region is located in the southwest of France and is crossed by the Garonne River and the
Dordogne River. The vineyard area is over 120,000 hectares.
Bordeaux wines are divided into two groups depending on their position in front of the
Garonne river: the group on the left bank and the group on the right bank.
The main wine regions on the left bank are: Medoc, Haut Medoc, Pessac-Leognan and
Graves. There are a total of 15,000 hectares of vines. Among the wines produced here, the
main ones are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
The most popular wine-growing areas, Pomerol and Saint Emilion, together do not
exceed 6,500 hectares, and the main wine produced here is Merlot and Cabernet Franc. We
also find varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
The most famous types of Bordeaux wine:
Wine brandy - Margot Pavilion Rog - ruby color and aromas of flowers and cherries, currants,
spices .
Chateau Haut Plantey Medoc AOC - dark red in color with aromas of blackberries, cherries
and plums. The aroma of this wine is based on a combination of spices and berries.
Chateau Gillet Bordeaux AOC - this classic Bordeaux wine has an intense bright red color
and an aroma of spices and wild fruits.
