Students participated in a variety of language-focused project activities including webinars, Padlet posts, videos, stories, and poems. The activities centered around three units: introductions, personality and interests; creativity; and past experiences. Students developed key competencies such as communicative competence through using English, personal and social skills through group discussions, learning strategies, problem-solving, and civic values like tolerance through international collaboration. The multi-faceted project aimed to improve students' English language skills while fostering cultural understanding.

The project also led to the development of some key-competences:
1. Communicative competence – students used English during the project, to talk to other students, to participate in the activities. They also used their mother language, when they faced something difficult and they needed some explanations from their teacher or classmates. 2. Personal and social competence – students got the chance to express themselves freely, to share their opinions and participate in group discussions. 3. Competence to learn – students selected and used strategies and methods that helped them in the project. They discovered by themselves and drew their own conclusions. They also discovered the aim of learning and developed a positive attitude towards the act of learning. 4. Competence to solve problems – critical thinking was developed. Students got the chance to verify, find and solve problems alone or with their partners. 5. Civic competence – the main goal of the project was to develop citizenship values such as tolerance, non-discrimination etc. Considering that students worked with other students form different countries and cultures, they respected that and were very happy to learn new things about their countries, culture and lifestyle.
