Superfly Records in Paris is simply awesome! Lots of hidden gems in the Funk, Soul, Jazz, Disco,
Afro and Hip-Hop genre discovered here! I spent a good 1hr 30 mins here, sampling many rare
grooves that I digged. This is like a crate digger's heaven. Diggers can listen to any record before
buying and the owner was playing non-stop captivating soul music to entertain us. I am trying so
hard to control my spending here as it is only the first day of my trip. I did manage to pick 5 that I
cannot miss. The 5 that I have picked are: Afrika Star "Cà Nhòs Dam Gravata", The Inner
Dimensions of Rick Mason and Rare Feelings, Harold Mabern "Greasy Kid Stuff", Dionne Warwick
and Chakashas "Jungle Fever". I might return before I head to London in 6-day time as the shop is
just a 20-min walk from my hotel.

Reckless Records has been a Chicago staple since 1989. There are currently three locations
throughout the Chicago area, specifically Lakeview, The Loop, and Wicker Park. The Wicker
Park location is surrounded by some of Chicago’s finest shops, restaurants, and vintage stores,
making it the perfect spot to spend an afternoon.

With posters lining the walls, light reflecting in from the large store windows, and endless
rows of vinyl, CDs, and DVDs lining the store, this record shop provides a unique and
enjoyable atmosphere.

vintage record store in Cape Town, South Africa.

Mabu Vinyl, as seen in "Searching for Sugar Man" - a documentary film about the story of Sixto
Rodriguez. Sixto is bigger than Elvis, Beatles, and Rolling Stones in South Africa, but virtually
unknown here in the US.

Tower Records is the largest record store in Tokyo, stretching across seven floors! The first
floor primarily features K-pop albums and record players. Vacationers looking to explore a
new genre should check out Tower Records’ collection of Japanese hip-hop CDs and records,
as well as Japanese contemporary music. Tower Records also contains a large collection of
anime soundtracks on vinyl.

1998 and is a major part of Iceland’s music scene. This unique record store doubles as an indie
