There is too much sugar in it

The shoes are too big for him.

A . too much / too many = more than you want, more than is good
- I dont like the weather here. There is too much rain. (= more rain that is good) - Lets go to another restaurant. There are too many people here. - She studies all the time. I think she studies too much.

B. too + adjective (too big / too loud,)


- Please turn the radio down. Its Too loud. (= louder than I want) - I cant work. Im too tired.

C. too and not enough


- Theres too much sugar in my coffee. (= more sugar than I want) - I dont feel very well. I ate too much. - The radio is too loud. Can you turn it down, please? - The hat is too big for her. - Theres not enough sugar in my coffee. (= I want more sugar) - That child is very thin. He doesnt eat enough. - The radio isnt loud enough. Can you turn it up, please? The hat isnt big enough for her. (= its too small for her)

D. We say too for somebody / something to do something.


- There shoes are too big for me. - Its a small house too small for a large family. But - Its too cold to go out. (not for go out )
