A/B
George isn’t a common child – he is a Prince. He is the son of Prince William and Kate Middleton. But his parents
want him to have a routine as normal as possible, so they try hard to make that happen.
The first thing Prince George does is to listen to his favourite song: “The Three Lions football anthem”! He wakes up
his parents at six a.m. every morning. He gets dressed and then has organic milk, along with cheese, fruit or rice
cakes for breakfast. One of his parents takes George to Thomas’s Battersea School, in the south of London. He’s
very popular among his friends who call him “PG”: “P” is for “Prince” and “G” is for “George”. He has classes from
8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. He has lunch at school every day at midday. After school he always plays outside Kensington
Palace with his sister Charlotte, his brother Louis and the royal nanny. His parents encourage George to enjoy
outdoor activities such as riding his bike or playing with the dogs. George can only watch one hour TV a day (from 5
p.m. to 6 p.m.). Dinner is at 6 p.m. and bedtime is at 7 p.m.
C.
Cathy – What time do you get up?
Rita – Well, my nanny always wakes me up at half past seven. Then I have breakfast and at this meal I eat
everything you can imagine, from chocolate cake to muffins or tropical fruit. After that I have a shower.
Cathy – What do you do after that?
Rita – I go to school with my private driver. We stop to pick my friend Anita up and we arrive at school 20 minutes
later. My classes start at 9 and finish at midday.
Cathy – Where do you have lunch?
Rita – I have lunch at home. Our lunch is always so tasty… and after that I call my best friends and they meet me at
the palace. We watch videos, talk about series or listen to music…
Cathy – How about bedtime?
Rita – You know, a princess can’t go to bed too late… I always go to sleep at 9 p.m. Royal duties call the next day!
