Access Flow Test

1. Get ready Confirm machine conductivity is stable and alarm free. Confirm correct
needle placement. Check CombiSet Twister functions properly. Ask patient to avoid
excess movement during test.

2. Enable Access Flow Set Blood Flow rate at 300 mL/min.

3. Start Treatment

4. Run Access Flow Press “confirm” and follow prompts.

5. Reverse Bloodlines Reduce blood flow rate and stop blood pump

6. Reverse Blood Flow and document Rotate CombiSet Twister and lines to the
Access Flow Test position (arterial line to venous line- and venous line to arterial line)

7. Schedule/ Run Access Flow Test Follow prompts on screen.

8. Access Flow Complete Press “Confirm” when test complete. Follow prompts

9. Switch Bloodlines Back and document Rotate CombiSet Twister back to

regular treatment position (arterial line to arterial line and venous line to venous line.)
Follow prompts.
