Please be informed that the new type of BDU for the Sailor Fleet77 TT-3084A and the Sailor Fleet55
TT-3086A is equipped with a new Power Supply board. On this board, the previous “auto fuse” has
been removed and a fuse has been installed as an internal mini-fuse.

Please be informed that this fuse is available from the Spare Part Shop, p/n S-45.735.

Priority:
» LOW: For information purpose only – no direct action needed!

Action:

Replacement procedure.
» Check 24 VDC power input to the BDU. Measure at the connector plug!

» Check whether the green LED on the right hand front side of the BDU is lit, when the Power
On/Off push button on the BDU or at the Handset is activated.

» If the BDU does not power on, the BDU has to be opened.

» Remove the Config Module, by unscrewing the two (2) Allen screws on the front.

» Remove the BDU Front panel, by unscrewing the four (4) Allen screws.

» Remove the bottom plate of the BDU, by unscrewing the four (4) Pozi screws on the front on
bottom plate and the four (4) Pozi screws on bottom of the BDU.

» Check the fuse. An inspection could reveal whether the fuse is blown

» If the fuse is visible blown, replace by pulling out towards the left and insert a new fuse.
If not visible to state blown or not, take out the fuse and measure (ohm).

» If the fuse is OK, but the BDU is still not powered, replace the Power Supply boards. Please
note that the Power Supply boards are placed at both top and bottom side of BDU.

» Close the BDU in reverse order of opening.
