WRAP UP OF THE SEMESTER

The activities the PRSSA completed at the end of the semester

GALLOWAY, NJ, December 17, 2022 - With the spirit of the holidays, Stockton PRSSA announced
the 2022 Giving Tree. They collected winter accessory donations for the Friends of Jean Webster in
Atlantic City. All the donations went to the homeless people of Atlantic City. The Giving Tree was
displayed in the Campus Center Food Court from November 14th - December 9th. The PRSSA wanted to
thank everyone that donated to the Giving Tree 2022. In total, Stockton PRSSA was able to collect four
55 gallon bags with winter accessories.

On November 30th in room D-004 at 4:30pm, PRSSA had their final general meeting of the semester. It
was designed as a Resume Speed Dating workshop to give students and faculty the chance to let their
peers look over their resume and give advice, tips, and critiques to make your resume stand out in a
professional and organized manner. Whether someone had a hard copy or digital version of your resume
everyone was able to participate and receive feedback on their resume. The PRSSA had a terrific turnout
with over fifteen individuals attending. Due to the positive environment and valuable input received
during this meeting, the PRSSA intends to hold more interactive meetings like this one in the future; stay
tuned!

Following the Resume Speed Dating workshop, the PRSSA had their final fundraising event for the fall
semester. This fundraiser took place from 4:00-8:00 pm on November 30th at the Red Robin on the Black
Horse Pike in Mays Landing. Throughout the time allotted , anytime a table mentioned or showed the
flier that was posted on the Stockton PRSSA website, 20% of the food sales went back to the PRSSA.
They were able to raise over $50 to help their cost of the district conferences they plan to attend in the
spring semester.

As a whole, the PRSSA E-board members would like to thank everyone who came to our meetings,
events, fundraisers, etc. It means a lot to show your interest in and commitment to the organization, and
we can't wait to see what the future holds for this incredible group. We wish you a relaxing and enjoyable
winter break and look forward to seeing you next semester!
