- Brain changes the most, radically, attitude and development in the adolescent's brain
at the prefrontal cortex.

- The prefrontal cortex is the regulator of behavior, plans creation, decision making,
and the higher cognitive functions.
It’s also involucrated in social interaction and self-awareness.

3. What brain region is more active in adolescents?


- The middle prefrontal cortex, specialized in social relations.

4. What occurs between late childhood and mid-adolescence?


- Middle adolescence (from 15 years to 17) is a period where adolescents experience
physical, mental and emotional , including of coursesexual changes. In those who
are in late childhood there is a lack of empathy, of interest in others feelings, and a
difference in non-verbal communication.

5. What is still developing in mid-to-late adolescence?


- Understanding the other person’s perspective to guide our behavior
- Is still developing in middle and late adolescence.

6. Why is secondary education important in the development of an adolescent's


brain and why is guidance so important?
- To reinforce the whole prefrontal cortex of a teenager.
- Because teens take more risks when they are with friends. And also to be at their
side with them in their independence.
