Cherry Blossom

Cherry blossom is one of the Rosacea Familia, Genus Peunus or we called “ Sakura “ is
cherry tree with flowers. Its tree is a symbol of spring, for the Japanese. Most of Sakura trees
grow in the humid lowlands and highlands. Places with little moisture and sun protection are
the best place. They grow easily.

Traditional custom called Hanami means seeing the flowers. In Japan, you can find large park
with a lot of Sakura’s trees. When it comes spring, there will be a lot of people spend the
weekend just seeing its trees with relatives or families. The Japanese love Sakura. Some
people are still debating the origin of this tree. Some of them said it came from China or
South Korea, some believed it came from Japan.

There are about 400 types of Sakura for example Shidarezukura and Gyoiko. They have
different names with unique characteristic of its flowers, but have same color radiances,
mostly soft pink color. Shidarezakura is unique cause when it blossom, it will like a shower. It
spreads up everywhere. Gyoiko has the same pink color like its flowers.

The unique fact is Sakura flowers grow earlier than its leaves. So when it comes blossom ,
you can see the beauty of its flower.
