Ana Karen Díaz Melesio 6 INGENIERÍA

Review

A movie that I really enjoy is Five feet apart, it is a romance and drama movie that lasts 1h 57m.

The movie tells the story of Stella Grant, a girl who suffers from cystic fibrosis, so she lives in a
hospital, she likes to have control of most things in her life, take her medicines, organize everything
around her, keep a planner and stay away from anyone or anything that might make her sick while
she waits for a lung transplant. One day she meets Will Newman, a boy who suffers from the same
disease as her but who doesn´t mind following the treatment of the clinical trial in which he
participates and who only waits for his 18th birthday to leave the hospital and see the world.
Although, as expected, they begin to share moments but two meters apart because they cannot get
close because Stella would get infected and her place on the waiting list for the transplant would be
in danger. So close and at the same time so far.

Stella, who despite dragging a lot of pain is still standing wanting to love and be loved and Will has
lost all hope and all he wants is to remove all the cables that connect him to a borrowed breath.
However, in the midst of a chaotic room, the two meet and little by little they begin to connect, get
to know each other and support each other and, inevitably, fall in love.

I really recommend this movie, if you are a fan of love movies you will enjoy it and cry too. Also, the
actors connect in a beautiful and real way, both with the disease and in their relationship. They
transmit many emotions to the viewers, because suddenly you are crying and at the moment, they
just make you smile, which makes you think about how these people with such little life expectancy
can see life. Incredibly real.
