Let us talk about the most powerful and most supreme verse ever told in the bible.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.” (New King James Version)

The Twelve Greatest!

(According to Ptr. Chuck Swindoll)

1. For GOD- The greatest Lover

Tandaan mo, dahil greatest lover sya. Great na great ang love
nya, kasama tayo dun dahil naextend pa because of the Christ Jesus.
2. So loved- The greatest degree
➢ There are 4 types of love according to the bible. First one is Eros, it is the Greek
word for sensual or romantic love. And God is very clear in the Bible that eros love
is reserved for marriage. Second one is Storge it is a Greek word that describes
family love, the affectionate bond that develops naturally between parents and
children, and brothers and sisters. Then philia, it is a Greek term that describes the
powerful emotional bond seen in deep friendships. And lastly, Agape, it is the
highest of the four types of love in the Bible. This term defines God's
immeasurable, incomparable love for humankind. It is the divine love that comes
from God. Agape love is perfect, unconditional, sacrificial, and pure.
3. The world- The greatest number
➢ Known as greatest company, too.
except all whole wide world. Maliwanag na sinabi na 'the world'. Hindi sinabi na,
so loved the, Jews, the Asians, the Americans, the whites, or the saints. Walang
race ang invalid, lahat tayo ay napapabilang! We belong to the world, yet we also
belong to the promise.
4. That He gave- The greatest action
uncoditional love. He is sufficient, pero simple lang yang nakukuha mong blessing
sa greatest of among the greatest sa mga ibibigay nya? Hm? Ano kaya? Reveal
next?
5. His one and only Son- The greatest gift
➢ And this is it.
Have you realized; God let His only Son to save you. Walang iba kundi si Lord
Jesus Christ.
naten. Wala nang mas ge-great pa don! Yes!
6. And whosoever- The greatest invitation
➢ Known also as greatest opportunity, it may look random, right? God loves all His
people, in all 7 continents, all over the four sides of whole world--and yeah right.
Iri-receive mo
na ba ang invitation?
7. Believes- The greatest simplicity
➢ Which form to apply that you acknowledge the Lord? Very simple. Believe in HIM.
Believing the Lord is the first step of faith and a way to salvation. Paano mo sya
patotoo, come on! Believe in Him and acknowledge that Jesus is the God's Son
and our Savior. Hallelujah!
8. In HIM- The greatest attraction
➢ He is the greatest person! Ang focus ng ating verse. Si Lord Jesus Christ ang
tinutukoy dito.
ay maiiwasan ang perishment at pagkakalooban ng life that last forever.
9. Shall not perish- The greatest deliverance
What do perish may
mean? Perish ay pwede din translatable sa death, forsaken, lost, being forget or
mga bagay na layo tayo sa Lord. But thru faith and believing in the Lord,
deliverance from perishment is guaranteed.
10. But- The greatest difference
➢ Three letters, b-u-t. Sa Tagalog, pero. Pag medyo malalim, ngunit. Same lang.
Transition ng perishment. Isang salita na magpapatunay na there will be a great
change kapag nanalig ka sa Lord. A transition between the harsh penalty to God's
salvation thru HIM, the Lord Jesus Christ.
11. Have- The greatest assurance
➢ One word again. Have! The word na magga-guarantee na talagang makukuha
natin ang promise of Salvation ni Lord. It means, kapag pinagpatuloy mo ang
greatest simplicity at mabuhay with the Lord's will. Have means, you will gain. The
greatest promise will be sure. Hallelujah!
12. The eternal life- The greatest property
➢ Imagine that believing the Lord is a gift na naka-wrapped pa. You have the
opportunity to accept and you have been saved from perishment. Ngayon,
unwrapping the gift na! What's inside? What is the cost of believing in Jesus
Christ? What you will gain is the eternal life, it is by our Lord Jesus Christ. Your
grand possession na may roon ka! Your greatest belonging! Your supreme
achievement! By believing the LORD! That is now yours, dahil sa deliverance at
sa assurance of believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.
