Dear Sir,
PMC has reviewed the ALH-233 Circuit Book – Indoor (New Manauri- New Sujatpur Block
Section) Rev. A. submitted by Consortium of Siemens-KEC vide letter under ref. 2 above and
communicates Notice (Notice of No Objection) with comments as per GS para 10.0 (1) (Page
146 of CA) and GS Para 14.0 (4) (Page 148 of CA) with following comments:
A. Technical Comments:
1. Scanned Signature is not acceptable in the design.
2. S&D systems interface circuit diagram will be verified during Bell Testing w.r.t OEM data
sheet.
3. All Track Section name should be shown in the design as per the latest approved SIP of
New Manauri- New Sujatpur Block Section. (e. g. M09X as M09XT). Track names on sheet
0181, 0182, 0183, 0184, 0311, 0312, 0314 & 0315 should be updated at the next
submission.
B. Technical Comments Sheet Wise: -
1. Sheet No. 0002: Rev. column should be corrected.
2. Sheet No. 0051: Signal Aspect Symbol should be added in the table.
3. Sheet No. 0052- 0053:
a) Acronym description should be provided as per Circuit book.
b) Description of ACO, ACS, BTS are missing.
4. Sheet No. 0054:

 a) SL. No. 1-49: # Details of cables terminals connectors should be identical.
b) “#36” cable description is missing.
c) “#34 & #35” cable description is not matching with Sheet No.0104.
5. Sheet No. 0066 - 0067: Material Reference list sheets should mention quantity of each
material used in the design.
6. Sheet No. 0100-104: “Equipment Layout Plan” in the circuit book should be updated as
per the approved plan. The consortium is required to mention the reason for providing
BTS at ALH-233.
7. Sheet No. 0105: Latest approved SIP of the area related to ALH-233 should be provided in
the Key plan.
8. Sheet No. 0106: Latest approved CCP of the area related to ALH-233 should be provided
in Key plan.
9. Sheet No. 0111:
a) IP Plan should be provided before commissioning of the station.
b) CTR & Field spelling should be readable.
10. Sheet No. 0126: WESTRACE MK2 Front and Rear View” C, D, K, L, M & N- Row” Spare
terminal should be provided.
11. Sheet No. 0126 & 0136: Relay Rack Fuse and Terminal Size should be readable and
enlarged.
12. Sheet No. 0136:
a) Relay Rack-1; “A & B Row” Spare terminal should be provided.
b) Voltage rating of RC circuit should be Verified during Bell Test.
13. Sheet No. 0141:
a) E-Row voltage Supply terminal presentation of “MSDAC & Lighting” should be
corrected.
b) F22 cable detail should be corrected.
14. Sheet No. 0152: Approved IPS Single Line diagram of ALH-233 should be provided in the
design before next submission.
15. Sheet No. 0471- 0476: Consortium should confirm that “2200µFD” capacitor is firm or
the value will be updated as per site installed circuit requirement.
16. Sheet No. 0640: Termination has been shown on CT Rack for “Relay Room Door Switch &
IPS. This should be verified during Bell Test.
17. Sheet No. 0693: MSDAC- EI Interface diagram should be reviewed and corrected.
18. Sheet No. 0693- 0704: MSDAC- EI Interface “TPR, PPR & RSTR” Contact wiring
presentation are wrong. It should match to the wiring done at site.
19. Sheet No. 0715:
a) MSDAC Supply terminal should be provided in circuit book.
b) Voltage Supply should be corrected for “WK2-C1-6 & WK2-D1-6” terminal in data
logger card No-4.
20. Sheet No. 0724: Sheet no. should be provided for the MSDAC Power Supply terminals
mentioned in the circuit book.
21. Sheet No. 0741: “FMS” patch cord allocation has not been thoroughly reviewed. It should
be verified during Bell Test / Simulation / Function Test.

 22. Sheet No. 0747: Sheet no. should be provided for the MSDAC Fan supply terminals given
in circuit book.
23. Sheet no. 0801, 0803, 0804, 0805, 0808 & 0809: Details are required to be updated w.r.t.
outdoor circuit.
C. General Comments:
1. ‘Drawing and CAD standard’ has been mentioned under GS Appendix-7, (page nos. 228 –
229 of CA); the same should be followed in the Design.

Further,
1) This is to mention that in reference to FIDIC General Condition’s sub-clause 3.1(c), 4.11 and
5.8, approval or consent of the Engineer shall not relieve the contractor from any
obligation or responsibility under the contract. If any errors, omissions, discrepancies are
found later in the referred document (drawing and design) the contractor has to carry out
the modification on his own cost.
2) The Contractor shall be responsible for and shall bear and pay the costs for any alteration
of works arising from any discrepancies, errors or omissions in the design and drawing
supplied by him, whether such designs and drawings have been approved by the Engineer
or not (PSSW Para 1.5.2 / PSTW Para 1.6.2 of CA).

Hence, Consortium of Siemens-KEC is required to submit 4 copies of the design “Circuit Book
(Indoor Drawing – W1/SG/187) Interface Circuit: ALH – 233” along with para-wise compliance of,
but not limited to, the above comments.
