Dear Sir,
PMC has reviewed the Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay RH-2 Interface Circuit Book, Drawing No. –
W1/SG/0118, Rev. A. submitted by Consortium of Siemens-KEC vide letter under ref. 2 above
and communicates its response as per GS para 10.0 (1) (Page 146 of CA) and GS Para 14.0 (4)
(Page 148 of CA) with following comments:
A. Technical Comments:
1. CCP of RH-2 is being updated by the consortium, therefore, the complete design will need
update after approval of CCP. However, PMC has checked the design and the comments
should be updated at the time of next submission.
2. Drawing and CAD Standards mentioned in GS, Appendix-7, Para 2.1 (CA Page 299-230)
has not been followed. This Should be complied in the next submission.
3. Scanned Signature is not acceptable in the design.
4. S&D systems interface circuit diagram will be verified during Bell Testing w.r.t OEM data
sheet.
5. All Track Section name should be shown in the design as per the latest approved SIP of Pt.
Deen Dayal Upadhyay RH-2. (e. g. M03X as M03XT). Track names on sheet. 0316, 0317,
0318, 0319, 0323 0692, 0693, 0696, 0761 & 0762 have not been updated. It should be
updated at the next submission.
B. Technical Comments Sheet Wise: -
1. Sheet No. 0052: Acronym should be updated as per circuit book.

 2. Sheet No. 0066 - 0067: Material Reference list sheets should mention quantity of each
material used in the design.
3. Sheet No. 0100-0104: “Equipment Layout Plan” in the circuit book should be updated as
per the approved plan.
4. Sheet No. 0105: Latest approved SIP of the area related to Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay RH-2
should be provided in the Key plan.
5. Sheet No. 0111: IP Plan should be provided before commissioning of the RH-2.
6. Sheet No. 0125 - 0126: WESTRACE MK2 Front and Rear View” C, D, K, L, M & N- Row”
Spare terminal should be provided.
7. Sheet No. 0136 -0139: Relay Racks “A & B Row” Spare terminal should be provided.
8. Sheet No. 0141: F22 cable detail should be corrected.
9. Sheet No. 0141 - 0142: E22 & E23 cable details should match with CTR termination
details.
10. Sheet No. 0142: B11 & B12 should be corrected.
11. Sheet No. 0153: Approved IPS Single Line diagram of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay RH-2
should be provided in the design before next submission.
12. Sheet No. 0680: Termination has been shown on CT Rack for “Relay Room Door Switch &
IPS. This should be verified during Bell Test.
13. Sheet No. 0716: Supporting document is required for reviewing of MSDAC Supply
terminals.
14. Sheet No. 0726: Sheet no. of MSDAC circuit book along with supporting documents
should be provided for the MSDAC Power Supply terminals mentioned in the circuit
book.
15. Sheet No. 0741: “FMS” patch cord allocation has not been thoroughly reviewed. It
should be verified during Bell Test / Simulation / Function Test.
16. Sheet No. 0749: Sheet no. of MSDAC circuit book along with supporting documents
should be provided for the MSDAC Fan supply terminals given in circuit book.
17. Sheet no. 0801, 0806, 0808, 0809, 0810, 0811, 0816, 0824, 0825, 0826, 0827 & 0828:
Details are required to be updated w.r.t. outdoor circuit.
C. General Comments:
1. ‘Drawing and CAD standard’ has been mentioned under GS Appendix-7, (page nos. 228 –
229 of CA); the same should be followed in the Design.
Further,
1) This is to mention that in reference to FIDIC General Condition’s sub-clause 3.1(c), 4.11 and
5.8, approval or consent of the Engineer shall not relieve the contractor from any
obligation or responsibility under the contract. If any errors, omissions, discrepancies are
found later in the referred document (drawing and design) the contractor has to carry out
the modification on his own cost.
2) The Contractor shall be responsible for and shall bear and pay the costs for any alteration
of works arising from any discrepancies, errors or omissions in the design and drawing
supplied by him, whether such designs and drawings have been approved by the Engineer
or not (PSSW Para 1.5.2 / PSTW Para 1.6.2 of CA).

Dayal Upadhyay RH-2 Interface Circuit Book, Drawing No. – W1/SG/0118.” along with para-wise
compliance of, but not limited to, the above comments.
