1. Provide 3 goals for the Shangri-la organization based on these statements.

Based on the given statements, I can conclude that the Shangri-la

organization aspires to have a safe environment and a fun experience for
its guests, colleagues, shareholders, and business partners. They also
seem to be very much into making their guests satisfied with their services
so that they can have more repeat customers. So, if I am to set 3 goals for
this business giant, they will be the following:
a. Increase direct and indirect bookings by 10% each quarter of the year.
b. Increase the hotel’s occupancy by 2-3% above the previous year’s
level.
c. Achieve an average rating of 75% in overall service/consumer
surveys.

2. What value does an accurate forecast value provide an organization? Why?

An accurate forecast value equips the organization with a lot of future
value variables. It is because this methodology allows you to predict and
contrive possible demands all year round. And if they were able to define
those demands, they could make astute business investments. This
master plan is also used to promptly classify and eliminate potential
problems that they may encounter in the future. And once they have
successfully identified and eradicated those negative variables, both their
sales process and company morale will be in great condition. That is how
quintessential forecast value is in an organization or business.

3. Why is it important to consider the customer’s demands towards the creation and
implementation of a product service?
The success of a product or service is obviously determined by its
consumers. It is crucial for businesses to establish an involvement and
relationship between their creations and the buyers. This is to guarantee
that the customer’s demands and expectations will be met and satisfied.
And once they are able to recognize the product’s worth, it will be hard for
them to part ways with your business. By then, they will ask for more from
your business, increasing both its engagement and profits. Furthermore,
considering your consumer’s demands is the main reason you decided to
create a product or service in the first place. It is up to you to help them
with whatever inconveniences they are experiencing. So, it is just rightful
to meet your buyer’s expectations in order for your business to thrive.

4. Why is efficiency so important in operations?

Businesses spend loads of money and other financial resources on their
operations, which covers all the things they do to create products or
services. That is why it is important for them to be efficient in every
process, or else they might suffer a huge loss. To avoid wasting money,
time, and effort, every business should follow this principle. Aside from
that, being efficient in operations will make your business cost-effective
and waste-free while maintaining the product or services’ quality. This
simply signifies those profits will rise, which will benefit business owners,
stockholders, and, as a result, the management team.
