A BILL
To require certain reports and briefings relating to North
Korea.

1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 SECTION 1. REPORTS AND BRIEFINGS RELATING TO

4 NORTH KOREA.

5 (a) ANNUAL REPORT.—The President shall submit

6 to Congress on annual basis a report on the matters de-
7 scribed in each of following:
8 (1) Section 203(e) of the North Korea Sanc-
9 tions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016 (22

3 (2) Section 205(a)(1) of the North Korea Sanc-
4 tions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016 (22
5 U.S.C. 9225(a)(1); relating to operators of foreign
6 sea ports and airports that fail to inspect cargo to
7 or from North Korea).
8 (3) Section 316 of the Korean Interdiction and
9 Modernization of Sanctions Act (Public Law 115–
10 44; relating to report on cooperation between North
11 Korea and Iran).
12 (b) SEMI-ANNUAL REPORT.—The President shall
13 submit to Congress on a semi-annual basis a report on
14 the matters described in section 209(a) of the North
15 Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016 (22
16 U.S.C. 9229(a); relating to persons responsible for know-
17 ingly engaging in significant activities undermining cyber-
18 security).
19 (c) BRIEFING.—
20 (1) IN GENERAL.—The President shall provide
21 to Congress on a semi-annual basis a briefing on the
22 matters described in paragraphs (1) and (2) of sec-
23 tion 318(a) of the Korean Interdiction and Mod-
24 ernization of Sanctions Act (Public Law 115–44; re-
25 lating to briefing on measures to deny specialized fi-
