Dear host family:

My name is Michal, I am 17 and I come from the Czech republic.

Why do I want to go to the USA? That is the question. I have several reasons for
this. Besides improving English and meeting new culture I can see other reasons
too: I will become more independent, meet new people and friends and maybe
travel through a part of the USA.

I have a lot of hobbies too. My favorite are skiing, weight training and
paragliding. I am interested among other things in IT and consumer electronics
(mainly Apple), internet marketing, cooking and healthy lifestyle. In my free time
I like watching movies and TV series, reading or listening to music. When I am
with my family or friends, I also like travelling and adventure, debating, hiking,
cycling, shopping or sauna. I will not occasionally resist also extreme sports
(skydiving, bungee jumping, freeskiing, water skiing).

I like enjoying my life. I am very active and enterprising. People say about me
that I am sincere, friendly, thorough, humorous, optimistic, curious, intelligent,
motivated or reliable.

I have been living in our house together with my mom, dad, brother, dog (Golden
Retriever) and African Grey Parrot that is like my baby. My dad is 56 and he is a
businessman (truck transport), my mom is 42 and she is a housewife. My brother
is 13 and he goes to the same school as me.

My life goal is a happy and sound family and children, a lot of good friends, good
business career and a lot of travelling around the world – happy life in general.

I do not know you, you do not know me, but after all you know at the moment
more about me than I know about you. I you fancy me, I hope that we will meet
soon and enjoy the year as much as possible!
