Be going to
We use be going to + infinitive to talk about future intentions.
Usamos el be going to + infinitivo para hablar de intenciones
futuras.
For example:
I´m going to visit friends in Holland this year.
He´s going to have a pizza for dinner tonight.
We aren´t going to stay in a hotel.
What are you going to do this summer?
Affirmative
I´m going to relax by the pool.
She is going to stay on a campside.
We´re going to visit a museum.
Negative
I´m not going to study this weekend.
She isn´t going to stay in an apartment.
My friends aren´t going to visit me next year.
Question
Am I going to meet your friends later? Yes, I am. / No, I´m not.
Is she going to stay in a hostel? Yes, she is. / No, she isn´t.
Are they going to eat out tonight? Yes, they are. / no, they aren´t.
