Question 1

At the end of every year, a salesman is given the total of his sales, Bonus and a Comment.
Design the worksheet using the following information. Save it as Sales and print it (3 marks)

i. Sort the worksheet in ascending order of Surname.


ii. Insert the following data between Tapiwanashe and Tawanda:
Tanatswa Machoni $80 000 (2 marks)
iii. Add two columns labeled Bonus and Comment (1 marks)
For $85 000 or more, the Bonus is 10% and comment is “Excellent”, For $65 000 or
more the bonus is 7% and comment is “Good work”, for $50 000 or more, the Bonus
is 5% and comment is “Can do better” otherwise the bonus is 2% and the comment is
“Work Hard”. Calculate for each salesman the Bonus which is a percentage of sales.
Give each salesman a suitable bonus and a comment as shown above (6 marks)
iv. Add rows below your worksheet labeled Maximum bonus, Minimum sales and
Average sales. Using formulae, calculate the maximum bonus, minimum sales and
average sales. Print the worksheet (3 marks)
v. Display a non embedded pie chart to display names and sales. Give and appropriate
heading and print it (3 marks)
vi. Insert borders on all entries (2 marks)
vii. Display the formulae and print in landscape format (2 marks)
viii. Print the spreadsheet without formulae (2 marks)
