IV. Procedure
A. Review/Presentation of the New Lesson
What are the things that can be recycle that made from wood
B. Motivation
What can you see in our window? What material it came from?
C. Presenting Examples/Instances of the New Lesson
Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new objects. We can also use our creative
talent to make something new out of something old. Most importantly, we can help save the Earth
and all its resources. Metal is a solid material that is typically hard, shiny, malleable, fusible, and
ductile, with good electrical and thermal conductivity (e.g., iron, gold, silver, copper, and aluminum,
and alloys such as brass and steel, etc).
D. Discussing New Concept and Practicing New Skills
Material that can be recycled:
● Metal
Most of the metals you throw at home come from canned goods and other household materials. These
are made from steel that can be melted and turned into new cans. Commonly, cans are made from
aluminum that can also be recycled easily.

F. Generalization and Abstraction

Aside from wood, metals are highly saleable in junk shops. Companies buy used
cans to be recycled into metal packaging like containers for canned goods, drinks, and
other materials. Metals are also used as cooking utensils and home accessories or
furniture. Other metals that can be recycled are lead, copper, brass, carbon steel, alloy steel, magnesium and
zinc.

1. Frequently recycled metals are scrap steel, iron, lead, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, tin, bronze, brass
and zinc.
2. Scrap yards sell metal by weight irrespective of type or usability of metal item.
3. Scrap metal is recyclable material left over from product manufacturing and consumption.
