 SPG ELECTION NARRATIVE REPORT

Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) is a school organization whose purpose is to train the pupils to
become a better citizen in the future. SPG also establishes a representative body to promote leadership
and foster learners’ welfare and academic excellence.

The candidates were divided into two parties. The “LAKAS Party”, which stands for Leaders of
Assertive, Knowledgeable and Active Students and the “SIPAG Party”, which means Students Imparting
Priority to Academic Goals. Both parties diligently sought support from their schoolmates.

Each party prepared for their platforms independently. They went to each classroom to introduce
themselves and presented their proposals for school improvement beneficial to learners to convince their
schoolmates to vote for them.
Both parties came up with similar goals and that is to promote academic excellence in their little ways.

Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 1:30 o’clock in the afternoon the most awaited time came---
Election Day. Pupils casted their votes. It was done in the Grades 5&6 classroom. The SPG Adviser and
coordinator, Mariel L. Lipa together with her co-teachers as committee members Ma’am Yenny D. Osico
and Janette B. Francisco organized and set up the venue.

After an hour the election has ended. The counting of votes followed then. Out of 77 students from
kindergarten to Grade VI, 73 Pupils actually voted. After the counting, results was then posted and winners
were proclaimed.

So far SPG election was successfully done where students are given the chance to participate and
exercise their right to suffrage during the election.
