1. Political Law—is that branch of public law which deals with the organization and
operations of the governmental organs of the State and defines the relations of the
State with the inhabitants of its territory. "Pay-to-play" restrictions are an example
of political law.

The particular political law that catches my interest the most is the constitutions
because he fundamental and supreme law of the land. statutes - including Acts of
Congress, municipal charters, municipal legislation, court rules, administrative
rules and orders, legislative rules and presidential issuances.

A state's constitution is a crucial piece of legislation. To keep and uphold peace

and order in society, a state's citizens must adhere to its laws. The state will be in
disarray without this. The state's sovereign authority will decline, making it difficult
for the government to run effectively.

Although the Philippines has a number of constitutions, the most "famous" ones
date back to the Biak-na-Bato Republic. The Pre-Hispanic socio-historical
backdrop of the Philippines contributed to the evolution of the constitutions.

Example: Philippine Constitution (1987) Preamble

We, the sovereign Filipino people, imploring the aid of Almighty God, in order to build a
just and humane society and establish a Government that shall embody our ideals and
aspirations, promote the common good, conserve and develop our patrimony, and secure
to ourselves and our posterity the blessings of independence and democracy under the
rule of law and a regime of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality, and peace, do ordain
and promulgate this Constitution.
The Philippine preamble is so ideal that if all Filipinos will put it in the heart and live with
it, surely there will be peace, ordinance, and prosperity in our country. It also stated there
that through the help of our Almighty God we can establish a government that promote
the common good, conserve and develop our patrimony. So, let’s build this kind of
government for the sake of the life sacrificed by our ancestor for us to have this freedom.
Not a government that will kill our democracy that is blinded by greed.
