Rules And Regulation for RYLA Sports

(Category C)
➢ Athletes must respect the rules and decisions of the Organizing Committee and judges
during the event.
➢ The decisions of the Organizing Committee will be final, and no one will argue with
them.
➢ Athletes must compete within the spirit of fair play and respect for their opponents.
➢ Athletes are expected to attend the games on time.
➢ All athletes must wear proper attire, including a sports outfit and appropriate footwear.

1. BACK RACE - Piche Dekho Piche


The back race is a race where athletes run backwards.

• The track will be 100 meters long.


• All athletes must start the race from the starting line and run backwards to the finish
line.
• Athletes must maintain their position in the race and not interfere with the progress of
other runners.
• Any athlete who falls or stumbles during the race must immediately stop running,
correctly stand, and resume running from where they fell.
• Any athlete who turns around and runs forward during the race will be disqualified.
• The athlete who crosses the finish line first, while running backwards, is declared the
winner.

2. THREE LEG RACE - Tin Tigada kam Bigada


The three-leg race is a race where teams of two athletes compete to complete a race by
running or walking together on three legs.

• The track will be 100 meters long.


• Each team must be made up of two athletes of the same gender.
• Teams must start the race from the starting line and complete the race together, with
one athlete's left leg and the other athlete's right leg tied together.
• Any team that falls or stumbles during the race must immediately stop running and
return to the starting line.
• The first team to cross the finish line, while maintaining their three-leg connection, is
declared the winner.

3. RELAY 200X4 - BattonGround!!!


The relay race is a race where teams of athletes compete to complete a race by running
or walking and passing a baton to each other.

• Each team must be made up of four athletes.


• Each team must choose the order in which their athletes will run the race.
• The first athlete on each team must start the race from the starting line and complete
their designated leg of the race before passing the baton to the next athlete in line.
• The baton must be passed within a designated exchange zone, which is usually
marked by a line on the track.
• Any team that drops or loses possession of the baton must immediately stop running
and return to the starting line to retrieve the baton.
• The first team to have all of their athletes cross the finish line while maintaining
possession of the baton, is declared the winner.

4. CARRY THE TEAMMATE - Saath nibhana Sathiyaa


The carry-the-teammate race is a race where teams of athletes compete to complete a
race by carrying one of their teammates.

• Each team must be made up of three athletes.


• The track will be 100 meters long.
• One athlete on each team must be designated as the "carried" and the other two
athletes must be designated as the "carrier."
• The carrier must start the race from the starting line and carry the carried athlete
through the race to the finish line.
• The carrier must carry the carried athlete in a designated position, usually by holding
the carried arm between two carrier athletes.
• Any team that drops or releases their carried athlete during the race must immediately
stop running and return to the starting line to retrieve their teammate.
• The first team to have the carrier and carried athlete cross the finish line is declared
the winner.

5. 100m RACE - Bolt-The Bijli


The 100m race is a track and field event in which athletes compete to see who can run
100 meters the fastest.

• All athletes must start the race from the starting line and run in their designated lane.
• Athletes may not interfere with the progress of other runners by running out of their
lane or blocking their path.
• Any athlete who falls or stumbles during the race must immediately stop running and
return to the starting line.
• The athlete who crosses the finish line first is declared the winner.
