Sub: Waiving of OASIS penalty due to COVID 19 pandemic in r/o Regular Category
schools - reg.

It has come to notice that many schools could not update the data in the OASIS portal within the
stipulated timeframe due to nationwide spread of COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lock
down. As the schools could not function continuously and therefore, there was an undue delay
in updating the OASIS portal which lead to expiry of scheduled date resulting infinancial penalty
on the schools.

Taking cognizance of the situation sympathetically, the Competent Authority of the Board,has
decided to fully waive off the penalty imposed on all Regular Category schools on account of
OASIS penalty.The OASIS portal has accordingly been enabled so that the schools may update
the data immediately.

This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
