Review Your Milestone Strategies​

Instructions:

 lay this activity in a team retrospective or other team meeting where you have 30 minutes available.​

Print a copy for every two team members.​
Introduce this as an activity about which milestone review strategy the team uses today.​
Give the pairs 10 minutes to work through the steps:​
Step 1: identify the team’s current milestone review strategy from the list in the goal diagram. ​
If the option is not mentioned, write it in.​
Step 2: brainstorm three positive and three negative aspects of the team’s current strategy.​
Step 3: pick a strategy that is toward the top of the list and brainstorm three positive and three negative
aspects o ​ f using the new strategy over what the team uses today (take your team’s context into consideration
when​determining positives and negatives).​
Debrief by having the pairs take turns sharing their work.​
Continue the activity by collecting all strategies the pairs picked, and work on reaching​consensus on one strategy to
try as an experiment.
