True Love Waits


1 Thessalonians 4;3,4

Intro:
A. We need to understand the meaning of Purity; Freedom from evil or Sin (Exo. 20:14)
B. We need to see what does the Word of God Says. (Matthew 5:27-28, 1 Corinthians 7:3-5

What is the meaning of Vow? A covenant between God and man

 Bible Education is priceless treasure for human race.


 Without the Bible as our guide, we cannot glorify God as we live in the courses of
our life. (1 Tim 3:16-17)
 We must carefully handle and guard in the important areas such as love,
courtship, and marriage.
 Keep in mind that God wants that every family need to display the power of
purity and Godly living.

- Every Christian should know how to define love and how to do it appropriately that can
glorify God.

4 Kinds of Love
1. Agape – totally unconditional and unselfish love that has the capacity to give and keep on
giving without expecting in return.
2. Eros – Erotic Love, carries the idea of romance, ideally for opposite sex and specially for
Married Couple.
3. Storge – Natural Affection and sense of belonging to each other such as family.
4. Phileo - is brotherly love. This type of love is most often shown within close friendships.

Now, we have three things to remember for having a Godly Partner.

1. God has a Perfect Period or time for you.


2. God has a Perfect Partner for you. Gen 2:18-20
3. God has a Perfect Principle for you. Gen. 2:21-23

3 Things to remember for being pure:

1. Being Pure is doing God’s Will


2. Being Pure is decent Godly Work.
3. Being Pure is displaying God’s Worth.

\Conclusion:
What do you feel? Love or Lust?
It’s is up for you to decide. But,
Be pure in the sight of God.

Stand - Rom 14:4
Sunshine - 2 Corinthians 4:6
Title: The Three C that we must increase
John 3:30

I. CHRIST HIMSELF — take His miracles, e.g. — beginning with water turned into wine and
culminating at the Resurrection.

II. CHURCH of His’. At first a few persons meeting in an upper room, now in millions and still
there is room. Increase will be promoted by —

1. Preaching.

2. A good example.

3. Prayer.

III. CHRISTIANS. We must grow in grace. (2 Peter 3:18)


THE MAN WHO CAST AWAY HIS GARMENTS (OF SIN)

Text: Mark 10:46-52 (V.50)

Introduction:
A. Jesus passing through Jericho for the last time.
B. He is on His way to Jerusalem and to the Cross.
C. A blind man received his sight.

I. WHO THIS BLIND MAN WAS. (Verse 46)


A. Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus.
B. A beggar.
C. A picture of a lost sinner.

1. Born in sin.
(Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.);
(Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God)

2. Blind spiritually.
(2 Corinthians 4:3,4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4In whom the god of
this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel
of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.)

3. Unable to save himself.


(Eph. 2:1,8,9 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 8 For by grace
are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest
any man should boast. )

II. WHO THIS BLESSED MAN HE WAS MET. (Verse 47)


A. Jesus of Nazareth!
B. A cry for mercy.
C. See his persistence...
D. And Jesus stood still.
E. Jesus called for him to come.
F. He is still calling sinners.
(Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest)

III. WHAT HE ACCOMPLISHED. (Verse 50)


A. Cast away his garment. (Genesis 35:2 2Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that
were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your
garments:)
B. Repentance is necessary. (Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all
likewise perish.); Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance
toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.)
C. He rose and came to Jesus.
IV. WHAT HE ACCEPTED. (Verse 51)
A. What wilt thou that I should do unto you?
B. Lord, that I might receive my sight.
C. Immediately His blind eyes were opened.
D. He followed Jesus in the way. (2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a
new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.)

Conclusion:
A. What Jesus did for Bartimaeus, He will do for you!
B. Jesus is calling for you today.
C. Come without delay.
