Across the world, many private and public universities practice uniforms. Some professionals
in the region say the use of uniforms is a fine tradition and a necessary tool to maintain
discipline and order among students in educational institutions. In my opinion, using it is a
way of protecting an equal environment and creating respect and discipline among students.

The reason we should promote the use of uniforms is that they reduce peer pressure and
competition, allow students to focus more on their studies, encourage more discipline, and
provide a professional image.

First, the implementation of uniforms reduces the sense of competition among students, and
they won’t be judged on how they look, but in who they are. For example, some children face
the dilemma of having the latest designer clothing, and it assists in avoiding such conflicts
by removing the chance for confrontation over clothing.
