 Week 1 Summary No. of Hours

The 1st week of my internship

was exciting. It was going to
the unknown field of my life
as a student. In there, I have
to be flexible as to what ever
tasks will be assigned to me
and so far, I think I did well in
the transmittal where we use
Microsoft Excel but there are
some things that was
challenging for me during the
August 17 – August 18 16 Hours
process of learning. But
2022 overall, my first week is very
fruitful and challenging at the
same time.

Moral of the week:

I learned that as a student intern, you need to be flexible and be as fruitful as much as you
can and that your supervisor can rely on you. I also learned that we need to be 10 minute
early because the time in COA is 10-minute advanced.

Week 2 Summary No. of Hours

In the 2nd week of my

internship, Ms. Lara taught
us different financial
accounts and vouchers like
List of Due and Demandable
Accounts Payable,
Disbursement Vouchers,
Journal Entry Vouchers and
we were tasked to sort it out
depending on their ADA
number and we’re also
August 22 – August 25 37 Hours
checking if the amounts are
2022 correct at the same time. It
was full of learning and while
doing our tasks, we were told
to study the papers so that
we can relate and see how
the process works in their
Division, and so we did and
we learned a lot. The week
was very fruitful and again,
challenging at the same time.

Moral of the week:

I learned that as a student intern, that I have to act as an employee but with certain
limitations and at the same time, act as a student because I believe that we are on the verge
of learning so that when the time comes, we are well prepared of the whatever accounting
related tasks will be assigned to us in the future of our workfield.
