    The Polangui South District held a virtual District Science and Technology Fair from May 20-21, 2021 with the theme of "Science Research and Technology: Partners for a Strong and Progressive Community". Agos Elementary School participated with one student, Redford Salando Jr., competing in the digital poster making contest. He created a poster over 1 hour while being videotaped by his coach, Mrs. Cheryl Bagacina. On the final judging day via online platform, Redford ranked 7th out of 11 contestants in the district. The fair aimed to develop resilience, innovation and creativity during the health crisis and identify top students for higher-level competitions.

    NARRATIVE REPORT ON DISTRICT SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FAIR

    In line with the District Memorandum No. 33 s. 2021, the Polangui South District held its
    District Science and Technology Fair on May 20-21, 2021 via virtual platform with the theme
    “Agham Pananaliksik at Technolohiya: Kabalikat sa Matatag at Maunlad na Pamayanan”.

    The fair purposed is to develop resiliency, innovation and creativity amidst global health
    crisis. It showcased the competence of learners in addressing community problems for sustainable
    development and maximize their potentials of being inquisitive and creative in dealing with real-life
    problems. It also aimed to identify learners who shall represent the district in the coming
    Congressional Science and Technology Fair and other Higher-level competition.

    The events were Digital Poster Making and Jingle Making Contest for elementary level.
    Agos E/S joined in digital Poster Making, the contestant was Redford Salando Jr. a grade 5 pupil
    and his coach was Mrs. Cheryl S. Bagacina.

    On May 18, 2021, 8:00 oclock in the morning Mrs Cheryl Bagacina took the video while
    Redford Salando Jr. having his poster making. It lasted 1 hour then she uploaded the video to the
    link given by the district. May 20, 2021 was the final judging via online platform. Redford Salando
    Jr. our contestant ranked 7th out of 11 contestants in the district.

    That was a very challenging competition via virtual platform. It was done successfully.
