CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

At the moment, coffee and milk tea are one of the hottest trends and most popular
drinks. It is well-liked not just for its medicinal properties but also for its distinctive
flavor and blend, which explains why many consumers become dependent on it. It is a
blend of milk and tea that includes other flavors and ingredients. Customers have a
variety of options to select from. Customers from younger generations fell in love with
this new product trend. As a result, business owners view this as a big chance to increase
revenue and create a fresh, distinctive product from the originals. Milk tea businesses are
fantastic places for people to hang out, socialize, and pass their leisure time, just like
coffee shops.

As the demand for coffee and milk tea grew, more entrepreneurs entered the
market and established these businesses. A market structure known as monopolistic
competition, in which competition is fierce and different brands compete for consumers'
allegiance, is best shown by the milk tea industry. Entrepreneurs must figure out how to
differentiate their product from those of their rivals. Here, marketing strategy is taken
into account in order to get consumers' attention. Entrepreneurs need to think of the best
and most original strategy to launch and market their product. The first step for any
business to take on the road to success is generally thought to be its marketing plan. The
success of the firm will depend on how effective and distinctive your marketing plan is.

RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES

Strategies of Risk Management is an approach structured in addressing risks. It is best to

rationally understand the cyclical process that proves new and ongoing risks are
continually identified, assessed, evaluated, managed, and monitored.

2.1 Risk Identification

• Hazardous Materials – Failure to use proper protection which may result in burns,
explosions and health problems.
(Ensuring that workers wear proper protective clothing when working with hazardous
materials.)

• Slips and Falls – Slip and fall injuries caused by slippery substances not properly
cleaned up, objects left in walkways, or carpet or cords not properly secured.
(Taking time to put proper workplace safety measures in place, installing proper signage,
performing regular safety assessments, providing safety training, and being proactive
with potential risks.)

2.2 Risk Responsibilities

9
In Vita Bella Bagong Silang branch there are only two employees, the one who is in

charge and the one who acts and perform tasks inside their shop.

customers.

because it’s hard to open the door.

● CCTV - for security when there’s a thief or an accident.

CHAPTER 3

Conclusions and Recommendations

This section must include the significance of the Risk Management Plan (RMP) in
relation to policies, theories, and practices. Highlight the significance of the risk
management plan as mentioned in chapter 1.

3.1 Conclusions

This business vita Bella has many shortcomings, such as not having much equipment,
and people are not attracted to it very much. But I know that this Vita Bella has the
ability to improve because the products they use are not just random but have benefits for
our bodies.

3.2 Recommendations

13
We would like recommend that they should find a better place for their business for the
reason that their current location is not that popular and too narrow. They should provide
fire extinguisher and fire exit in their store because it’s important to have one. Water
Shortage problem is needed to be fixed as it’s important for cleaning equipments. The
sliding door should be replaced to a pull and push door for an easy way enter and exit.
CCTV is important if a crime is committed either within their store premises or around it.
Another recommendation is the fuse box should be placed far from their store since it’s
very dangerous if the electric sparks and eventually can caused fire.

3.3 Proposed Risk Management Plan to the Establishment

To improve Vita Bella we would like to propose risk management plan to the
establishment to be more active in their social media that can help them to promote their
products and also we want to suggest if possible to move their place in the best location
where there’s a lot of people who can buy their products. We also suggest that their
employees should be more lively and convincing so that the costumers may feel that they
are welcome.
