Sir:

I have the honor to apply in your institution as volunteer nurse. I am JL G. Busia , 24

years old, Filipino, and a Registered Nurse. I graduated Bachelor in Science of Nursing at
College of St. John-Roxas De La Salle Supervised last April 13, 2007. I took my first
Nursing Licensure Examination last December 2 and 3, 2007 and I was able to pass it. A
Civil Service Eligible, good physical and mental condition. I am one year and eight
months of experience as a staff nurse in Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital. At present
I am studying in Central Philippine University for my Master of Arts in Nursing.

I am equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitude that are most appropriate for the
position I am applying for. I had my training experience from the different health
institutions in our region; the likes of Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital, Bailan
District Hospital, Mambusao District Hospital, Western Visayas Mental Health Unit,
Iloilo City, and Capiz Doctor’s Hospital. I believe these affiliations made me more
prepared for my chosen profession.

From four years of studying theories and enhancing my skills, I have learned to do things
with precision and compassion. I love taking care of others especially the sick and I know
I will be fit for the job. I believe that my school has helped me to become one, making
me realize that nursing is really for me.
