1. What does the privacy policy for the app/site/service you chose say about?

Instagram don't sell any information to anyone, and they never will. They impose strict

restrictions on how their partners can use and disclose the data they provide. They

share content and information to Facebook and Third-Party Partners.

a. What data is collected by the company?

 They collect information such as the location of a photo or the date a file was

created.

 They collect information about the people, pages, accounts, hashtags and

groups you are connected to.

 They collect contact information, usage, payment information, such as your

credit or debit card number and other card information.

 They also receive and analyze content, communications and information that

other people provide when they use their Products. This can include

information about you, such as when others share or comment on a photo of

you, send a message to you, or upload, sync or import your contact

information.

My suggestion is they should keep updating their privacy policy to protect personal

information even more. The Instagram privacy policy should be clear and easy for the

user to understand so they know their limitations as a user. They should limit viewing

ads for children to avoid accidentally clicking on the ads and leading to the transaction.

This can be done by limiting the sharing of information with advertisers and marketers

with children’s account.
